Apple 'Doughnuts'
Ingredients
- 15 grams soft cheese (cheese spread)
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 3 crunchy apples
- Coloured sprinkles to decorate.
Method
- Mix soft cheese and honey together and set aside.
- Peel apples (optional), then slice each through the core into 5 or 6 rings - about 1 cm thick.
- Use an apple corer or small round biscuit cutter to stamp out a circle from the middle of each slice, removing the core and creating 'doughnut' shapes.
- Pat the slices dry using paper towel - they should be as dry as possible to help the toppings stick.
- Spread the topping over the slices, decorate with sprinkles and serve!
